2011.04.28 Dazhi 5th Famine Day gave out love and hope for those who are under the threat of natural disasters and those who are suffering from famine, war and aids.
Dazhi Famine Day has been held for 5 years, this year, the number of participants reached 625. The main idea of this year is to light the candle of hope for those in need through the act of being hunger. Students set up five different clocks, which represent five terrifying disasters happened around the world, to highlight the severe climate changes caused by human beings. On April 28th, all participants have to find out those hidden clocks in campus and the meanings behind them.
